Accounting Supervisor (Glyfada)

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee the accounting operations of a group of six companies under common ownership. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with Greek accounting and tax regulations, and the efficient management of day-to-day accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate accounting activities across six group companies.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of Category C (double-entry) accounting books in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards.
• Oversee daily accounting transactions, reconciliations, and month-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and supporting analyses.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax obligations, including VAT and withholding taxes.
• Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Implement and improve accounting controls, procedures, and reporting practices.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and development to accounting team members.
• Partner closely with senior management to support business decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards (ELP) and Greek tax legislation.
• Proven experience managing Category C accounting books.
• Experience working in a multi-company or group structure environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SoftOne ERP.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
