This high-impact specialist role is instrumental in translating complex payment technology into compelling narratives for top South African bankers and retailers. You will operate with significant autonomy, solving complex, high-risk assignments, driving process improvements, and acting as a key mentor. The Role

The Senior Product Marketing Writer leads the strategic creation of complex, high-stakes collateral such as research reports and whitepapers while partnering with SMEs to translate technical concepts into strategic roadmaps. As the team’s messaging authority and lexicon advisor, you will design narratives optimized for various channels,  underpinned by SEO, AEO, and GEO best practices, to ensure high impact and conversion. Additionally, the role involves setting quality standards, mentoring other writers, and proactively using advanced analytics to optimise overall content performance and lifecycle efficiency.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience spanning complex technical or B2B writing environments, with a strong preference for enterprise software, financial services, or payments.

• Education: A Bachelor's degree (Honours preferred) in Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a technical field (e.g., Sciences, Technology, or Law), with proven ability to synthesise complex technical concepts.
• Core Skills: Advanced analytical thinking, expert editing and storytelling capabilities, and deep proficiency with content performance analytics.
• Competencies: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex, ambiguous problems, mentor peers, and autonomously optimise content workflows
