Electrical Inspector
About this role
Are you an experienced Electrical Inspector looking for flexible, project-based work with a global leader in quality assurance? Intertek is seeking a freelance electrical professional to support inspection and testing services in NRW on an ad hoc basis.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections of electrical installations, equipment, and systems in accordance with national and international standards
- Conduct audits and prepare inspection reports based on findings
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to coordinate inspection schedules
Your Profile:
- Certified electrician, electrical engineer, or equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical inspection
- Knowledge of applicable German and international electrical standards (e.g. VDE, IEC)
- Familiar with inspection reporting and documentation standards
- Fluent in German; basic English skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within NRW
- Registered as a freelancer in Germany (or willing to register)
