About this role

About us

Listed on Nasdaq, Futu Holdings (FUTU) is a global fintech company behind moomoo and Futubull โ€” advanced digital brokerage platforms serving millions of users worldwide. We're technology-driven, delivering secure, seamless access to global markets and reshaping how people invest.

What this role is

We're looking for a Narrative Lead to own brand storytelling and copywriting across Futubull's marketing, product, and brand communications in Hong Kong. You'll shape clear, engaging, culturally fluent narratives in Cantonese. The kind that make people feel something about their money, not just read about it. You'll also contribute to brand storytelling for moomoo, our international platform.

This is a senior creative role. You lead the narrative. You set the standard.

What you'll work on

  • Campaign ideation and storytelling across every channel OOH, digital, OLV, on-ground activation, whatever the brief demands. End-to-end, from concept to delivery.
  • Cantonese-led narratives that bring Futubull to life in Hong Kong. Not translated. Not localised. Born in Cantonese, rooted in the culture, made for this audience.
  • Turning financial complexity into simple, compelling stories that build trust and drive engagement. If people don't understand it, they won't trust it. Your job is to persuade. And build brand love.
  • Raising the creative bar. You'll shape and elevate the narrative craft of the in-house team. This is a roll up your sleeves and lead type of role.

Who you are

You're a senior Cantonese copy-based creative. 10+ years. You've held titles like Associate Creative Director or Creative Director, in agencies or in-house. You've run the room, not just sat in it.

You lead people, not just projects. You've mentored junior creatives. You give clear direction, honest feedback, and craft guidance that actually makes the work better. People grow under you.

Your portfolio proves it. High-level conceptual thinking. Campaign ideation. Cantonese writing craft rooted in Hong Kong culture and audience insight. Finance categories are a bonus, not a requirement. The thinking is what matters.

You write for performance without losing your soul. You understand that creative has to work. Drive engagement, deliver commercial impact. With ideas, narrative, craft.

You build systems, not just ads. Brand architecture, tone-of-voice frameworks, narrative systems that scale. You think beyond the single execution.

You know filmic storytelling and production. TVCs, digital films, social video โ€” from idea development through execution. You've been on set. You've been in the edit. You know what a good cut feels like.

You can sell the work. Strong communication and presentation skills. You articulate ideas clearly, defend them confidently, and get senior stakeholders to buy in.

You're trilingual. Mastery in Cantonese. Fluent in English and Chinese. Spoken and written. This is non-negotiable.

Bonus points if:

  • You've worked in fintech, finance, or regulated industries. Which means you know how to balance creativity, clarity, and compliance without letting the work become beige
  • You also have English copywriting proficiency and experience working bilingually across Cantonese and English campaigns
  • You have working knowledge of AIGC tools and AI-assisted creative workflows. Applied thoughtfully to ideation, craft, and production efficiency.

How to apply

Send your portfolio. Lead with the work that made you proud. The campaigns that landed, the lines that stuck, the films that moved people. Show us the Cantonese craft. Show us the thinking behind it.

If you've spent a decade making brands heard in Hong Kong, let's talk.

  • Private Health Insurance
  • Pension Plan
  • Paid Time Off
  • Training & Development
  • Performance Bonus
