Compliance Intern

The Compliance Intern is a crucial member of our organization responsible for ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves overseeing individual and corporate account opening processes and conducting reviews of periodic cases to identify and mitigate potential risks. Effective communication with various departments is essential for maintaining a robust compliance program.

Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC reviews on Individual and Corporate clients. Review clients' documentation and perform name screening to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodic reviews to assess the compliance of existing accounts. Ensure that customer due diligence information is up-to-date and per regulatory standards.
• Manage and investigate name screening alerts to determine the validity of potential matches and take appropriate actions.
• Participate in ad hoc projects and duties where assigned and ensure the effective discharge of the tasks assigned.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure within tight deadlines with no loss of accuracy.
• A proactive and reliable team player but can also work well independently.
• Able to handle repetitive work.
• English speaking and Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage
