About this role

RCI Aggregates (an affiliate of Park Paving Ltd.) recycles concrete and asphalt rubble for resale in the greater Edmonton area. We are currently seeking a skilled Yard Loader Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive wages and benefits.

As an RCI Yard Loader Operator, you will be expected to operate and manage all yard duties including but not limited to:

  • Operating heavy equipment, including loader and excavator with breaker
  • Maintaining equipment and scheduling services regularly to ensure optimal performance
  • Loading, scaling and ticketing material loaded onto trucks
  • Managing truck traffic and customer sales
  • Building and managing rubble stockpiles
  • Yard maintenance, up keep and security
  • Record keeping and reporting through Apps of all scale tickets, safety documents and equipment pre trips
  • Ensuring a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines

We are looking for a candidate who is customer oriented, and willing to work extended hours, out doors in all weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience operating a loader and loading trucks
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's license
  • Proficient with the operation of smart phone and tablet
  • Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
