About this role
Salama Radiator Factory is seeking an experienced Quality Head to lead and manage all quality assurance and quality control activities related to the manufacturing and repair of aluminum radiators. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality standards, reducing defects, improving processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Establish quality policies, procedures, and inspection standards.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and company quality requirements.
- Monitor and improve product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Quality Control & Inspection
- Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure proper testing of radiators, including leak testing and pressure testing.
- Monitor welding, brazing, assembly, and fabrication quality standards.
- Review and approve quality inspection reports and documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze quality trends, defects, and customer complaints.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection and rework rates.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and quality improvement programs.
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.
- Conduct training programs on quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to quality objectives.
Customer & Supplier Quality
- Handle customer quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct supplier quality evaluations and audits.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Compliance & Audits
- Lead internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality standards.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Experience (no. of years)
- At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
