About this role
The Licensing Accounts & Merchandiser is responsible for managing relationships with international licensees and supporting the execution of product and merchandising strategies across assigned markets.
This role ensures alignment between global brand guidelines and local market needs, driving sales performance through product assortment planning, coordination of launch activities, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Licensee & Market Management
- Manage assigned international licensees, acting as key point of contact for product-related topics
- Support sales campaigns and market preparation, ensuring readiness of tools and collections
- Lead regular alignment meetings with partners to review sales performance and product strategy
- Monitor market trends and propose assortment adjustments based on local needs
Merchandising & Product Coordination
- Present collections to international accounts, supporting product storytelling and positioning
- Develop and review assortments, ensuring alignment with seasonal strategies and brand guidelines
- Coordinate line sheets, assortment tools, and all material required for sales campaigns
- Analyze sell-through and performance, identifying opportunities and risks
Product Development & Operations
- Coordinate product information flow (BOMs, tech packs, artworks) to support license production
- Oversee product approvals (fabrics, colors, trims, labels, fittings) ensuring brand compliance
- Manage sample development, shipment, and approval process
- Maintain and update assortment boards and tracking tools
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Design, Product Development, Planning, Pricing, and Customer Service teams
- Ensure correct product setup in systems (styles, pricing, deliveries) prior to market launch
- Support late adds, collection updates, and pricing alignment
- 3–5 years of experience in Merchandising, Licensing, or Product Management (fashion/lifestyle preferred)
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle and merchandising processes
- Experience working with international markets or licensees
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of PLM systems like Enovia/Centric is a plus)
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
