Job Summary

The PTP Lead (SAP MM) will be responsible for leading the Procure-to-Pay (PTP) workstream for the SAP template roll-out in Egypt, with a focus on Materials Management (MM) processes. This role requires a hands-on functional lead with strong SAP MM expertise and a solid understanding of end-to-end procurement, inventory, and invoice-related processes.

The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and the central program team to ensure alignment with the global SAP template while supporting local business requirements, solution validation, testing, deployment, and go-live readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PTP/MM workstream for the Egypt SAP template roll-out.
• Validate the global template against local procurement and materials management processes.
• Work with business stakeholders to confirm process alignment and identify local gaps or required clarifications.
• Support workshops, fit-gap discussions, solution validation, and functional reviews.
• Drive PTP/MM activities across testing, defect resolution, cutover preparation, go-live, and hypercare.
• Ensure readiness across key areas including vendor master, purchasing, goods receipt, inventory movements, stock management, and invoice verification.
• Coordinate closely with FICO, Supply Chain, Data, Reporting, and Integration teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
• Support business readiness, training, and user adoption for PTP/MM processes.
• Track risks, issues, and dependencies within the workstream and escalate where required.
• Provide regular status updates on progress, key decisions, risks, and business impacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• SAP MM and/or SAP S/4HANA certification is a plus.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading SAP MM/PTP workstreams or functional teams.
• Proven experience in at least one full SAP implementation or global template roll-out project.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.

Must-Have Requirements

• Proven hands-on SAP MM functional lead experience in implementation or SAP template roll-out programs.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (PTP) processes within SAP.
• Strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM).
• Experience in purchasing, vendor master data, inventory management, goods receipt, goods movements, stock management, and invoice verification.
• Experience with SAP configuration, testing, defect analysis, and production support.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Ability to lead functional workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution validation sessions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to drive execution and deliver results in a fast-paced project environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Experience in FMCG industry environments.
• Experience in global SAP template roll-out programs.
• Familiarity with local procurement practices and operational processes.
• Experience coordinating with Finance, Supply Chain, Data, Reporting, and Integration teams.
• Exposure to warehouse, plant, or manufacturing-related materials management activities.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA certification.
