Villa San Michele, a Belmond hotel nestled in the Fiesole hills, overlooking Florence, is seeking a Chef de Rang to join its team. In this role, you will be a key player in delivering extraordinary luxury dining experiences that reflects the unparalleled charm and sophistication of our luxury property.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

• Operational Excellence: Fulfil the operations of the Food & Beverage outlets according to the Company policies, high standards, and procedures;
• Guest Experience: Monitor all aspects of the customers' experience, from the restaurant layout before they arrive to the service they receive. Act to ensure flawless service and anticipate guests' needs;
• Guest Relations: Establish and maintain good relationships with all guests, handling requests and enquiries with professionalism and courtesy;
• Team Coordination: Coordinate and monitor the Commis de Rang assigned to you, ensuring they deliver high standards of service. 

• Effective Communication: Communicate clearly and appropriately (both verbally and non-verbally), positively impacting your role and the business. Use and interpret non-verbal behaviours to enhance understanding;
• Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrate sensitivity to the needs and emotions of guests and colleagues, adjusting your style accordingly. Manage your own emotions in challenging situations;
• Collaboration: Work willingly as a team player. Share information and skills and actively seek and provide feedback;
• Drive Results: Provide genuine and consistent high levels of service by anticipating and exceeding the expectations of guests and colleagues. Show a can-do attitude and a sense of urgency in taking ownership of tasks and responsibilities;
• Adaptability: Identify when a different approach is needed and offer solutions. Be open to trying and adopting new ways of doing things. Think before acting;
• Global Perspective: Treat everyone with respect and inclusiveness regardless of position, level, or background
