About this role

CONTROLLER

Location: Edmonton, Alberta

Pay Type: Salaried

Position: In-Person

ABOUT THE ROLE

At CarePros, finance is more than reporting and compliance, it is a critical driver of sustainable growth, operational excellence, and organizational impact.

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Controller to lead and oversee the financial operations of CarePros and its related entities. This role is ideal for a experienced finance leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings proven experience managing multi-entity organizations, financial strategy, operational accounting, and team leadership.

The Controller will play a key role in strengthening financial infrastructure, supporting executive decision-making, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping position the organization for continued growth and diversification.

This is not an entry-level leadership opportunity. We are looking for someone who has successfully operated in a Controller capacity before and can confidently lead sophisticated financial operations with minimal oversight.

Working closely with executive leadership, the Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, budgeting, audit coordination, and financial process optimization across multiple entities and business streams.

WHY CAREPROS?

Because the work matters.

CarePros supports children, youth, adults, and their families requiring specialized and individualized care. Behind that work is a finance team committed to strong stewardship, accountability, and innovation. Our financial operations directly support high-quality service delivery, organizational sustainability, and strategic growth.

Here, your leadership will influence meaningful outcomes, helping ensure resources are managed responsibly so frontline teams can continue making a lasting impact in people’s lives.
