Owns the end‑to‑end support model, vendor governance, operational strategy, and improvement roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. End‑to‑End SAP Operations Ownership: - Own the full SAP operations function, Ensure platform stability, high availability, and optimized performance across environments.
- 2. Strategic Direction & Roadmap: - Define SAP operations roadmap, support model, continuous improvement plan.
- 3. Governance, Risk & Compliance: - Own operational risk management, regulatory adherence, audits, and controls. Oversee SOD governance, access design, and security posture across SAP applications.
- 4. Vendor & Partner Management: - Lead performance governance of all operations vendors under SAP operations, including SLA.
- 5. Stakeholder Engagement: - Serve as the key advisor to Department leadership. Present operational metrics, dashboards, trends, and recommendations.
- 6. Leadership & Organizational Development: - Lead multiple managers, team members, and technical/functional streams. Define capacity plans, and development programs.
- 7. Complex Issue & Escalation Management: - Own major incident g
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP application management or operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Deep understanding of SAP systems' architecture, functionalities, and technologies.
- Proven experience in managing SAP application performance, incident management, and user support.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive team performance and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills, effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with SAP best practices and methodologies is preferred.
- Relevant certifications in SAP or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
