Software Engineer - Web & Integrations

💼 The Scoop on the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll spearhead the implementation of reactive web applications, seamlessly integrating HRIS platforms, GDPR-compliant big data and data analytics applications. Joining forces with a highly skilled software team, you'll be at the forefront of designing and developing web applications and integration libraries tailored for data analytics, visualization, and business intelligence purposes.

Our Software-as-a-Service (PaaS)  solutions will be deployed in cutting-edge cloud-native environments, ensuring unparalleled scalability and data security. We're seeking a candidate with a genuine passion for crafting cloud-native solutions to tackle complex engineering challenges head-on.

This role may require occasional presence at our Dublin and UK office. However, we're open to exploring flexible working arrangements to accommodate your needs, and we're also open to considering contractors for this role.

The role's areas of focus:

• 🌍Reactive Web and Integration Component Development: Take charge of designing, developing, and maintaining various components of Grouper’s reactive web and integration applications, including PEAP, Calibrate, Transform, Grouper Portal, and more.
• 🔄Cloud-Native Application Lifecycle Management: Engage in the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud-native applications, from design and development to testing, bug fixing, and cloud deployment, ensuring seamless operation in modern cloud environments.
• 🔗 Client-Facing API Development: Construct robust and client-facing APIs, leveraging REST and HATEOAS principles to ensure high availability and scalability, meeting the needs of diverse client requirements.
• 🖇️Secure API Interaction: Develop and interact with secure APIs, employing technologies such as OpenID Connect and JWT to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data exchanged.
• 📅Agile Scrum Participation: Actively participate in an Agile Scrum-based software development process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic and iterative manner.
