We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a great attitude to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, based out of our Goondiwindi depot, servicing the greater Darling Downs area.

As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for working with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises pest-free, no 2 days are the same here!

Duties

  • Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests
  • Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
  • Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
  • Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
  • Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships

At Rentokil Initial, we take care of the training, but what we do need from you is:

  • Current and valid Australian open/full driver's licence
  • Eligible to work full-time in Australia 
  • Availability for possible overnight stays in remote areas
  • Interest in Pest Control or related industry experience
  • Excellent customer service skills to manage, maintain, and build upon client relationships
  • Communicate to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
  • Physically fit and the ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
  • High attention to detail to maintain high standards and achieve set targets
  • An ability to consistently work within both our client's and Rentokil's safety parameters
  • Confident using a mobile phone service app/tablet
