Job Title: Front End Specialist

Job Summary

The Tire and Alignment Specialist is responsible for inspecting, installing, repairing, and maintaining tires, as well as performing wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires on a variety of vehicles (passenger, light truck, and/or commercial)
  • Perform wheel alignments using specialized alignment equipment
  • Inspect tires, wheels, and suspension components for wear or damage
  • Diagnose alignment and tire-related issues and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Ensure proper tire inflation and torque specifications
  • Follow all safety procedures and shop protocols
  • Assist customers by explaining services, findings, and recommendations in a clear manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Support general shop operations as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Previous experience in tire service, automotive repair, or alignment work (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to operate tire mounting and balancing equipment
  • Familiarity with alignment machines and diagnostic tools
  • Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50–75 lbs)
  • Basic computer skills for service documentation
