About the Role:

  • The Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing low-code/no-code automation solutions to enhance customer experience, streamline communication workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
  • The incumbent will report to the Development Manager. The incumbent will have to work as part of a multi-functional team, and this involves collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse customer journeys and workflows, identifying inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
  • Design and develop automation solutions using LCNC tools (e.g., Yellow.ai, Zoho Creator, Zapier, Make).
  • Build workflows, configure interfaces, integrate data, and define business logic for scalable solutions.
  • Automate customer support, onboarding, feedback, and personalisation to enhance customer experience.
  • Implement communication automation across email, chatbots, social media, and internal channels.
  • Integrate LCNC solutions with CRMs, helpdesk software, marketing platforms, and databases using APIs and connectors.
  • Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliability and adherence to business requirements.
  • Document automated processes and deliver training to users and citizen developers.
  • Monitor performance of automations and drive continuous optimisation and expansion.
  • Establish and promote best practices in LCNC development, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Stay updated on LCNC tools, trends, and AI/ML innovations for enhanced automation strategies.

Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Stream will be preferred - Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field)
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation roles with a focus on LCNC platforms
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing customer experience/communication automations
  • Strong process analysis and workflow design skills
  • Proficiency in LCNC tools (e.g., Yellow.ai, Zoho Creator, Zapier)
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and database management
  • Basic JavaScript knowledge for custom LCNC logic (preferred)
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot) and Marketing Automation (e.g., Pardot, Marketo) platforms is desirable
