  • Help build and maintain a strong global patent portfolio aligned with Destinus' technological roadmap
  • Collaborate across international teams and travel between sites when needed to support innovation and IP development activities

What You’ll Need

  • Relevant experience as a Patent Engineer or in a similar intellectual property focused technical role
  • University degree in a scientific or engineering discipline such as Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields
  • Strong understanding of patent drafting processes, prior art analysis, and intellectual property strategy
  • Ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly to both technical and legal stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills in English
  • Hands-on mindset with a proactive and solution-oriented approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and highly collaborative engineering environment
  • Willingness to travel internationally between Destinus locations when required

Who You Are

You are naturally curious and energized by breakthrough technologies and innovation. You enjoy working closely with engineers, diving deep into complex technical concepts, and transforming ideas into strategic intellectual property assets. You thrive in fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly and collaboration happens across multiple disciplines and international teams. When others see complexity, you see opportunity. You are proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing technical depth with strategic thinking. Most importantly, you take ownership, communicate clearly, and are motivated by the idea of protecting technologies that are shaping the future of aerospace and defense.
