What-Not Shop Team Member

Location: Hope Association – What-Not Shop
Reports To: Program Director
Position Summary
The What-Not Shop Team Member supports store operations by sorting, pricing, and selling donated goods while providing excellent customer service. We are looking for relief staff when other staff are out sick or have scheduled days off could range from 15-20 hours contingent upon what's needed for relief.
Responsibilities
Provide friendly customer service and operate the register.
Sort, organize, and price donated items.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store.
Assist with inventory and merchandise rotation.
Support opening and closing procedures as needed.
Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid Maine driver’s license, reliable transportation, and clean record.
Ability to pass a background check.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
Perform frequent bending, lifting, and movement throughout the day.
Work Environment
Fast-paced retail setting with varying conditions and frequent public interaction.
