About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant who’s curious, analytical, and ready to help shape that story alongside our CFO and Controller. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, technically capable, intellectually curious and holds a deep desire to solve problems, and efficiently delivers a quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead all portions of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
  • Prepare and review complex journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Lead audit preparation and serve as a primary liaison for external auditors
  • Apply GAAP judgment to non-routine and complex transactions
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
  • Identify and implement process improvements and internal controls
  • Partner with business stakeholders to explain financial results
  • Provide informal guidance and support to staff-level accountants
  • Assist with systems implementation

The Senior Accountant requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related

field.

 

  • 6+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
  • Demonstrated ownership of month-end close processes
  • Experience with intercompany accounting and audit support
  • Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence

 

Expertise Needed

 

  • Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Concur (or similar ERP/expense platforms)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modeling
  • Experience with cash management and reconciliations
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
  • Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teams
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
  • High-level data-entry accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly
