Mount Baker Mechanical is part of a small family of companies that are employee owned. We are currently hiring an experienced Lead HVAC Technician to join our growing mechanical team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who can lead projects in the field, ensure quality workmanship, and mentor team members while delivering top-tier service on commercial and residential systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma/GED
- 5 years of HVAC experience
- 2 years of HVAC Lead experience
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, make it to work on time every day
- Safe driving practices and clean driving record
- Reliable, professional, and safety-minded
- Pass a drug test (including marijuana)
- Ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents
- Practice safety on job sites every day
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work as part of a team and develop positive working relationships with peers, general contractors and owners.
Preferred Qualifications:
- EPA Universal Certification
Responsibilities:
- Lead HVAC installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Oversee job site operations and coordinate with project managers
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems efficiently
- Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations
- Mentor and support junior technicians
