Senior Frontend Developer (React.js)

We are seeking a highly proficient Senior Associate – React.JS Developer to actively participate in the design, development, and upkeep of scalable, high-performance web applications utilizing React.js and contemporary front-end technologies. This position entails building reusable components, integrating APIs, and enhancing application performance. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, Tailwind, and adherence to UI/UX best practices is crucial.

This role demands extensive technical knowledge of Next.js and modern web technologies, along with the ability to collaborate efficiently within an Agile team and support the complete delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Assist in converting system architectures and UI/UX designs into functional, efficient, and scalable web applications.
• Create robust, reusable, and maintainable frontend components utilizing React.js and Next.js (or Vue.js) along with contemporary JavaScript techniques.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs to ensure smooth and efficient data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Support the planning, debugging, and deployment processes to guarantee timely delivery and optimize performance.
• Engage in code reviews and maintain high standards in quality, performance, and security.
• Implement responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and follow mobile-first development principles in all projects.
• Contribute to R&D efforts by staying current with emerging technologies and participating in innovation discussions. Provide on-call support during key events and critical system rollouts.
• Represent Sportz Interactive in technical meetings, client discussions, and project reviews as required.

Background and Experience:

• 4 to 6 years of practical experience developing and maintaining complex web applications using JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, and jQuery.
• Deep expertise in the React.js ecosystem, including Hooks, Context API, functional components, and state management solutions (Redux/MobX/Zustand).
• Familiarity with Nuxt.js, Node.js, and Vue.js is a plus.
• Strong grasp of application scalability, performance optimization, and maintainability principles.
• Experience with cloud technologies (preferably AWS), Redis Cache, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Experience integrating social media APIs (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and handling XML/JSON data formats.
• Knowledge of mobile optimization and familiarity with frameworks like jQuery Mobile is beneficial.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills coupled with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
• Collaborate effectively with backend developers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure smooth product delivery.
