About the role | Mō te tūnga
The Clinical Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for driving clinical excellence across residential Mental Health and AOD services. You will provide expert oversight of clinical practice, including assessment, care planning, risk management, and quality assurance, ensuring services are safe, effective, and aligned with Ngā Paerewa Health & Disability Standards. Working in partnership with the Service Manager, you will lead a strong clinical governance framework, manage risk and incidents, and contribute to ongoing service development and innovation.
You will lead and develop Registered Health Professionals through clinical supervision and coaching, ensuring high standards of practice, sustainable caseloads, and continuous improvement.
The role requires strong stakeholder engagement with Te Whatu Ora and community partners, alongside a deep commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive care. This is an opportunity to shape practice, strengthen workforce capability, and influence service outcomes at both a clinical and strategic level.

- Registered Health Professional with a current APC or relevant AOD qualifications
