Key responsibilities include:
- Create and edit substation and transmission line drawings
- Produce and revise drawings with AutoCAD or other related CAD tools
- Create, revise, and maintain detailed electrical drawings, including substation layouts, transmission and distribution plans, system protection schematics, wiring diagrams, survey maps, structural details, and equipment drawings associated with utility infrastructure
- Apply and maintain company drafting standards
- Convert engineering sketches, field notes, and markups into accurate CAD drawings
- Collaborate with engineers and field personnel to collect technical information needed for accurate drawings and incorporate red/green markups and field revisions into proper documentation
- Other support duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of any two (2) of the following high school or college math classes with a grade of C or better: Algebra, Geometry, or Trigonometry. Transcript required prior to interview. Please be prepared to disclose your transcripts.
- Must have two years of CAD education in high school or above or equivalent experience.
Hourly Pay:
