About the Role:   This role supports the global underwriting team and operations for embedded micro insurance products distributed via platform partners and implemented through fronting insurers and reinsurance arrangements in multiple countries around the world. 

You will work at the intersection of retail underwriting, reinsurance structures, and local policy execution, supporting day-to-day retail underwriting operations, coordination with fronting carriers, and data and reporting flows required by reinsurers and our internal teams. 

Key Roles and Responsibilities 

Retail underwriting support (local policy level, multi country) 

• Support underwriting of retail risks embedded in partner journeys, typically point of sale solutions. 

• Support policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, renewals, and adjustments. 

• Maintain and secure through company systems audit-ready underwriting documentation. 

Reinsurance & fronting company coordination 

• Support fronted programs and alignment with reinsurance contract, multi country. 

• Follow up on the delivery of all related documentation. 

• Keep documentation and data up to date including exposure and loss reporting inputs. 

• Reconcile data between embedded platforms, fronting carriers, and reinsurers. 

• Track treaty limits, retentions, and underwriting constraints. 

Embedded partner & international program operations 

• Support rollout of new countries and partners. 

• Help map underwriting rules to local policy requirements. 

• Test underwriting and policy issuance workflows. 

Data quality, controls & reporting 

• Ensure underwriting data accuracy for reporting. 

• Assist with bordereaux preparation and validation. 

• Support QA checks, audits, and compliance reviews. 

• Escalate issues impacting regulatory or treaty compliance. 

Process improvement & scalability 

• Identify recurring issues and suggest operational improvements. 
• Constantly support the process of automation of tasks through implementation of AI tools and technology 
• Support updates to SOPs and underwriting rules. 

Required Qualificiations 

• Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, insurance, actuarial, analytics preferred). 

• 3 – 5  years of experience in retail underwriting support and/or reinsurance operations. 

• Basic understanding of insurance policies and reinsurance concepts. 

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills. 

• Clear written communication skills. 

Ideal Candidate Profile 

• Exposure to fronted insurance programs. 

• Experience with multi-country insurance operations. 

• Familiarity with bordereaux and exposure reporting. 

• Strong technology knowledge 

• Experience with embedded or digital insurance products.
