Responsibilities
Select, train and develop an effective high performing team.
Provide direction, coaching, set expectations and manage the performance of the team.
Conduct performance appraisals; recommend salary adjustment, and promotions.
Ensure exceptional customer service and high quality work from direct reports.
Successfully lead operation and team and make change in process, procedures and structure to optimize resources and achieve business goals.
Analyze claims and management information; provide guidance to employees regarding investigations and appraisals.
Collaborate with managers, examiners, insureds, claimants, vendors and attorneys as needed to facilitate the appraisal process.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree preferred and 5 - 7 years of auto appraising experience
Experience in a supervisory role is strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft applications
Exceptional communication, customer service and relationship building skills required.
MA Appraisal license and driver’s license in good standing
Travel is required.
