Summary
Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine, located in Miami Shores, FL, between Miami and Fort Lauderdale, invites applications from dynamic candidates for an adjunct faculty position to teach a three-credit Biochemistry I course in the fall 2026 semester (August 24 through December 11, 2026).
Essential Functions
The primary responsibilities of adjunct faculty will be to teach this in person.
Administer and grade assessments utilizing ExamSoft™ testing system, report grades in the Canvas Learning Management System.
Proctor examinations in person, provide student advisement, and
Adhere to BUSPM protocols in the administration of the course.
Qualifications/Requirements
A PhD degree is preferred, although other appropriately well-qualified candidates may be considered.
Previous experience teaching in this field in a professional medical school setting is preferred.
A strong commitment to teaching a diverse population of medical students is highly sought. Review of applications will start immediately and continue until the position is filled.
