Job Description:

The Aftermarket Leader (Americas) is responsible for driving profitable growth and transforming Afinitas’ aftermarket into a high-performing, proactive business. This role owns key P&L levers including pricing, inventory, and commercial performance, while leading strategies to unlock installed base value and expand market penetration. The leader builds and develops a high-performing team, leverages data to drive decisions, and delivers strong customer experience through close collaboration with sales, service, and global partners. With a focus on operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and market insight, this role positions aftermarket as a critical engine of long-term revenue, margin, and customer value.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Mediapolis, IA. Open to candidates nationwide. Relocation assistance available.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Drive profitable revenue growth across aftermarket offerings, including spare parts, upgrades, refits, Alliance Part Packages, and emerging product lines.

  • Lead the development and execution of strategies that unlock installed base value and increase market penetration.

  • Build, coach, and lead a high-performing Americas Aftermarket team with clear goals, accountability, and performance expectations.

  • Own key P&L drivers, including pricing strategy, inventory optimization, and margin performance across the aftermarket portfolio.

  • Establish and continuously improve stocking strategies to balance service levels, availability, and working capital efficiency.

  • Analyze business performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement data-driven actions to accelerate growth and profitability.

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand share within existing markets while identifying adjacent growth opportunities.

  • Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with financial targets and strategic priorities.

  • Serve as a trusted customer advisor by translating technical product knowledge into clear, value-driven solutions.

  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and close sales opportunities to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets.

  • Coordinate closely with Sales and Service teams to align customer engagement and maximize aftermarket opportunities.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering to streamline order execution and improve lead times and on-time delivery performance.

  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends to strengthen product positioning and drive effective value-based differentiation.

  • Collaborate with global Aftermarket leaders (Denmark, Germany, US) to standardize processes and improve cross-site quoting efficiency and accuracy.

  • Lead initiatives that enhance communication, customer transparency, and team alignment, including management of incentive programs that drive focus on strategic priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably within a relevant or industrial/manufacturing industry

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies that drive organizational growth

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing teams

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly translate complex technical information into customer-focused solutions

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively

  • Analytical and creative problem-solving mindset, with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies

  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and technical documentation

The approximate pay range for this position is base salary in the range of $90k - $115k plus bonus. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
