About this role
POSITION SUMMARY:
The embroidery assistant will be responsible for assisting and following the embroidery technician’s instructions to fulfill quality and timely embroidery orders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Bags and tags finished products and reporting accurate counts.
- Assists with machine setup following all safety and company policy procedures.
- Assists with machine breakdown following all safety and company policy procedures.
- Performs general cleanup of machinery and area around station in accordance with safety and company policy procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Years of experience: One year
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
- Follow standard procedures and quality standards with attention to detail.
- Work in a team environment.
- Execute tasks according to specified guidelines and timelines.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- N/A
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Regular walking and standing
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
- Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
