The Role
The CAA Brand Consulting Account Manager will play a key role on 2 accounts: a technology brand and an international beverage brand to launch products in the U.S. The candidate will work cross functionally with internal departments across the agency and within brand consulting, external partners, clients, and internal/external vendors. The Account Manager will lead the day-to-day management with collaborators and support development of marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
Co-develop brand and product launch strategies (planning, research and idea generation) through sports and entertainment partnerships (leagues, teams, talent, creators, experiential) across channels/formats (events, e-commerce, and activations)
Develop and deliver clear, compelling communications and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Serve as a primary account team contact and establishing and maintaining strong professional relationships with key personnel across assigned accounts and properties
Own project plans and timelines for marketing strategy development: planning of campaigns, events and activations, working with internal account team, client team and external agencies
Oversee & facilitate the creative development process of marketing materials, experiential assets and event-related creative (includes briefing designers & obtaining internal & client approvals)
Leads strategic planning and execution of partnership experiential/event activations in collaboration with experiential production teams
Work collaboratively with strategy and data & analytics teams to interpret and apply relevant insights
Provide proactive recommendations and POVs tied to client business and brand objectives, influencing decision-making
Build strong relationships across CAA to identify and promote new opportunities for clients
Support organic growth efforts through insights, research, and pitch support
Account administration, managing deliverables and timelines, budget tracking and client reporting
Monitoring latest trends in clients’ categories, including with sports and entertainment properties
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or similar discipline
At least 4-6 years’ relevant experience including including sports and entertainment partnership management and developing brand/product launch strategies through sports and entertainment sponsorships
Ability to develop relationships across the CAA enterprise
Strong, established industry (sports & entertainment) relationships
Ability to balance and advance multiple projects and project components, simultaneously often within tight deadlines
Ability to speak to CAA Brand Consulting offerings
Excellent PowerPoint & Excel skills
Preferred Skills
Bilingual in Japanese and English
Sports marketing or similar agency experience
Beverage and/or technology brand experience
Location
This role will be hybrid, located in our Los Angeles office.
Compensation
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $85,000 to $115,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus. Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
