Description

  • Participate in CAE’s Supporting Crew Member (SCM) program at the Orlando, Florida training center
  • Provide “right seat support” for clients attending FAA-approved 14 CFR Part 142 curriculum courses
  • Support high-quality flight training sessions in simulator environments
  • Maintain availability for scheduled on-call assignments based on training demand (including 24/7 operations)
  • Complete required training and maintain program currency through a minimum number of annual events
  • Contribute to safe, professional, and effective training experiences for aviation clients
  • Participate in recurrent and advanced training programs offered by CAE

Minimum Qualifications

  • Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate
  • Airplane Multi-Engine Land (MEL) rating
  • Instrument rating (airplane multi-engine land)
  • Minimum 50 hours of multi-engine and instrument flight experience
  • Minimum 400 total flight hours
  • Ability to participate in a minimum of 35 training events within a 12-month period
  • Availability to work approximately 10–15 days per month
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including sessions of at least 5 hours and availability for 24/7 scheduling
  • Residence within the Orlando, Florida area

Preferred Qualifications

  • 100 hours of turbine flight time
  • Previous experience in structured aviation training environments or simulator operations
  • Interest in developing a long-term career in aviation training
  • For experienced pilots: interest in transitioning to a non-travel, ground-based aviation role
