This position is responsible for sorting hold area slabs, selecting slabs for fabrication, and moving slabs to the necessary line location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Learn and apply the concepts of Cambria warehouse work as outlined in the Warehouse SOPs
Stage material to prepare for inspection of slab
Sort slabs using an overhead crane and store them in the correct locations
Ensure that slabs are scanned correctly
Inspect the overhead crane daily
Operate a forklift as needed (minimal, no experience required)
Complete safety inspections of forklift and crane
Participate in monthly inventory counts
Communicate with Supervisor to keep them informed of material defects and inventory levels
Keep work area clean and orderly
Conduct all job-related duties in a safe and responsible manner
Sense of urgency in completing work
Cross-train on multiple types of equipment
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Management
Qualifications & Skills:
Ability to work safely and follow Standard Operating Procedures
Ability to become certified in using a forklift and an overhead crane
Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records
Ability to use measuring equipment
Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints and technical procedures
Basic computer skills
Basic math skills
Critical thinking skills
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Experience: Warehouse Experience Preferred
Systems: Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Push/pull 100 lbs.
Stand on feet on concrete for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
Bend over multiple times throughout shift
Task Based Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
Steel toed boots
Hearing protection
Cut resistant gloves
Safety glasses
High visibility vest
Hard hat
Respirator (employees who are required to wear a respirator must maintain a clean-shaven face in the area where the respirator seals to the skin.)
Cambria’s starting hourly range for this position is $19.00-$24.00. Hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
