Job Description

Position Summary: Campbellsville University School of Chiropractic is seeking a dedicated, full-time faculty member to teach primarily within the Chiropractic Foundational Sciences, with a specific focus on Anatomy and Physiology. Because a deep understanding of the human body and disease processes is a core component of patient assessment, this position will encompass teaching responsibilities in related foundational coursework. Faculty report directly to the Dean of the School of Chiropractic and must provide a Christian role model for students.

The School of Chiropractic offers flexible learning environments to meet the needs of our diverse student body. Candidates should be prepared to deliver instruction utilizing the University’s Learning Management System (Moodle) and video conferencing tools to ensure a seamless and engaging student experience. As a full-time faculty member, the successful candidate will also be expected to prioritize mentorship, support student success initiatives, and contribute to the academic and clinical development of our future doctors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic degree from a CCE-accredited institution.
  • Bachelor’s degree (required for chiropractic doctoral program instruction).
  • Demonstrated commitment to the university's mission as a comprehensive, Christian institution dedicated to academic excellence within a caring environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical experience of 5 years or more.
  • Prior teaching experience, particularly in online or hybrid formats.

Standard Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Instructional Delivery: Prepare and conduct classes in a way that addresses student needs and university goals, maintaining an orderly environment conducive to learning.
  • Syllabus & Course Content: Adhere to established course descriptions and university guidelines for syllabus creation in Concourse.
  • Assessment: Prepare and administer examinations, grade assignments, and submit final grades by established deadlines.
  • Student Mentorship: Be readily accessible to students before and after class and via telephone/email to provide assistance as needed. Fulfill a formal mentorship support role by advising students on coursework and referring them to the Office of the Dean or academic support services when necessary.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of academic and personal integrity, serving as a role model to students in both clinical and academic settings.
