The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented and experienced Industrial Designer able to lead the concept development for cutting-edge museum and experience centre design. This is a career-defining permanent role for a visionary designer. You will join our team during a period of significant growth, overseeing a sophisticated portfolio that spans community spaces, high-tech experience centres, national museums, and immersive activations for global brands.

As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will bridge the gap between high-level conceptual strategy and technical execution. You will act as the creative guardian for our most ambitious projects, ensuring that every spatial narrative we build is as structurally sound as it is emotionally resonant.

Your Mission

Your focus will be distributed across three pillars of excellence:

• Visionary Project Delivery: You will remain close to the craft, developing master concepts for Museums and Experience Centres. You’ll manage complex project timelines and mitigate risks while ensuring solutions exceed accessibility and engagement benchmarks.
• Design Governance: Act as the ultimate arbiter of quality. You will create concepts to ensure they push the boundaries of 3D visualisation and innovation while remaining strictly aligned with production standards and client briefs.
• Team Mentorship: Foster a culture of intellectual generosity. You will inspire and develop a high-performing team of designers, offering the guidance necessary to turn good ideas into world-class experiences.

Who You Are

You are a seasoned design authority with a people-first leadership style. You thrive in high-stakes environments and possess the rare ability to oscillate between big-picture thinking and the granular details of fabrication.

To be successful, you will bring:

• Proven pedigree: Minimum 5+ years of senior-level experience in conceptual, documented, and detailed design for large-scale public or commercial spaces.
• Qualified: A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Technical skill: Advanced proficiency in 3D modelling (SketchUp) and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Industry excellence: A profound understanding of construction materials, bespoke production processes, and the psychology of visitor engagement.
