About this role

About TSC

TSC.ai is building the leading AI-native operating system for public affairs. Our platform, Genie, helps leading corporations detect, understand, and act on external stakeholder, regulatory, reputational, and policy risk faster and better than traditional workflows allow.

We work with major companies across complex sectors and markets, helping external affairs teams move from fragmented monitoring and manual production to sharper, more actionable intelligence.

The role

We are hiring an Engagement Manager to own a portfolio of enterprise accounts and deliver intelligence outcomes at a standard that can displace traditional advisory work.

This is a senior client-facing role for someone who has done high-level public affairs, regulatory, or strategic advisory work, knows what good looks like, and wants to do it better and faster using AI-native workflows.

You will help prove a new model: that a strong Engagement Manager, working with AI agents and a delivery team, can outperform a traditional advisory engagement on speed, coverage, consistency, and value.

You will be TSC’s first Engagement Manager. You will not be stepping into a fixed function. You will help define it.

Why this role matters

Public affairs teams face more complexity than ever, but most advisory delivery still runs on a legacy model: more people, more manual work, more hours, more decks.

TSC has already built the platform. The next step is turning that platform into repeatable client outcomes delivered with advisory-grade quality and far greater leverage from agents and automation.

This role is the bridge between the technology and the client outcome.

What you will do

  • Own the intelligence outcomes for a portfolio of enterprise clients.
  • Translate client goals into clear deliverables, cadences, service levels, and quality standards.
  • Act as the verification and judgment layer on top of AI-assisted production.
  • Ensure outputs are not just produced, but useful, accurate, and decision-relevant.
  • Build senior client relationships across external affairs, risk, strategy, and related teams.
  • Identify expansion opportunities across regions, workflows, and stakeholder issues.
  • Drive adoption of TSC’s outputs into the client’s day-to-day workflow.
  • Feed client needs, edge cases, and quality signals back into product and automation teams.
  • Help define the playbook, metrics, and engagement model for future Engagement Managers.

Who you are

You come from advisory, or vertical and strategic SaaS account management. You may have worked in public affairs, government relations, strategic communications or advisory, regulatory risk, or adjacent advisory fields.

You likely have:

  • 5 - 8 years in an advisory or consulting role
  • Strong senior client credibility and the ability to hold strategic conversations
  • High standards for accuracy, judgment, and quality control.
  • A builder mindset: you like turning messy expert work into repeatable systems.
  • A real conviction that AI will reshape this category, and that the old delivery model is vulnerable.
  • 2 comfortable languages: Internal (RAG, MCP, agents, multi-agent orchestration, tool use, models, function calling, evals, embeddings, HITL, etc.) and external (CxO client value, executive readiness, no-surprises management, stronger stakeholder outcomes, etc.)

You’ll do well here if

  • You believe advisory work is a natural next sector to be disrupted by AI
  • You care more about client outcomes than activity volume.
  • You are comfortable operating with ambiguity and building as you go.
  • You want to work directly with leadership to define the new model, not inherit an old one.
  • You are comfortable challenging sacred cows

You won’t enjoy this role if

  • You see AI mainly as a content tool.
  • You want to manage layers of junior manual production.
  • You are attached to the traditional agency pyramid.
  • You need every process fully defined before you start.

What success looks like

Within your first 6 months, you will have helped establish visible proof that TSC’s engagement model can outperform traditional advisory delivery.

That means:

  • a well-run portfolio with clear scopes and quality standards
  • strong senior client relationships
  • measurable client value and clear expansion opportunities
  • at least one meaningful account expansion
  • a repeatable engagement playbook future hires can follow

What you can expect from TSC

  • Direct exposure to leadership and company-building
  • The chance to help build an AI-native advisory function from the ground up
  • Work with major global companies on complex stakeholder and external affairs challenges
  • Hybrid
  • 20 days of annual leave
  • Other benefits shared during the process

Hiring process

  • 1st Round: HR interview (culture fit and basic skills assessment)
  • 2nd Round: Hiring manager interview (Role fit assessment)
  • Short take-home exercise
  • 3rd Round: Team and CEO interview

Come help build the engagement model that replaces the traditional public affairs playbook.

We are committed to equal opportunities across cultures, backgrounds, experiences, perspectives, and opinions. We welcome applications from everyone.
