Impact Drill & Blast offers integrated drill and blast services, offering full Rock on Ground capabilities covering every stage of the project from survey, blast design, markout, drilling and bulk explosives supply to firing of blasts. About this opportunity

Join our rapidly expanding team in our Northern Territory Local Operational Team. We have exciting new opportunities for experienced Drillers. While our headquarters are located in Marrakai, this role will involve travel and overnight stays at various sites, reflecting our commitment to excellence and delivering results wherever the job takes us.


Key responsibilities

  • Precision drilling to consistently meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Accurate and thorough completion of daily drill logs, pre-starts, and time sheets.
  • Upholding a steadfast commitment to safety while achieving production targets, utilizing safety protocols such as Take 5's and SWMS.
  • Maintaining rigs in impeccable condition, ensuring they are clean, organized, and primed for operation.
  • Diligent reporting of maintenance issues and meticulous record-keeping of consumables.


The successful applicant will have:

  • Prior experience in blast hole drilling operations or a strong desire to learn and grow in this field.
  • Possession of a Certificate III in Drilling Operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Sandvik DPi or Pantera rigs is preferred.
  • Proven track record of thriving in remote work environments.
  • Ability to obtain a national police check clearance and possess a current Australian Open Class Manual Drivers License.
