Job Summary

Comcast Capital California is looking for a strategic Senior Financial Analyst to become a champion of our capital planning, analysis, and operations.

This is your chance to make a real impact, managing capital projects supporting fiber construction builds from end-to-end. You'll approve budgets, create forecasts, and collaborate across all levels to ensure operational excellence.

**This is a hybrid onsite role (4 days in office, 1 day remote) located in Livermore, CA, with occasional travel required.**

Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  • Own capital budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for fiber construction projects across the California portfolio
  • Partner with Construction, Engineering, and Business Development teams to evaluate project financials and track spend against plan
  • Conducts financial research, analyzes financial performance against objectives, and determines emerging financial trends.
  • Provide clear, actionable insights on risks, opportunities, and performance to leadership
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including scenario analysis and long-range capital planning
  • Drive process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility
  • Support business case development and capital investment
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in addressing complex, high-impact business decisions
  • Supports additional business operations initiatives and ad hoc analyses as needed.

  • AI Knowledge: Experience with AI tools and techniques for data analysis and decision-making preferred.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Collaborate with stakeholders across Construction, Engineering, Sales, and Business Development to drive alignment and results.
  • Attention to Detail: Deliver high-quality work with strong accuracy and organization
  • Reliable Teamwork: Maintain a strong work ethic, exceptional punctuality, and a commitment to collaborative success within the team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to leverage the full capabilities of the Office 365 Suite.
  • Analytical Toolkit: Experience with tools such as SQL, Tableau, Oracle Hyperion, PowerPoint

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: This job can be performed in California with a good faith estimated pay range upon hire of $92,678.92 - $123,571.89 USD.

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within the posted range for this role at the time of posting dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
