Job Description:

Job Summary**

The Plant Printing Analyst I is responsible for supporting and optimizing printing operations within Fabricas Monterrey, S.A. de C.V.'s manufacturing plant. This role focuses on maintaining print quality, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to process improvements.

Job Responsibilities**

"Ensure the availability of ink for the manufacturing of 16oz, 12oz, and 12oz Sleek cans, based on the standards, procedures, controls, and policies established by Crown, and through the implementation of strategies that ensure resource optimization, promote human resource development, foster a healthy work environment, and guarantee the necessary materials, machinery, and equipment."

* Monitor and analyze printing processes and output to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
* Perform routine checks and calibrations of printing equipment, including printers, ink systems, and related machinery.
* Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic printing defects and equipment malfunctions.
* Assist in the setup and configuration of new print jobs and materials.
* Collect and analyze production data related to printing performance, waste, and efficiency.
* Document printing procedures, maintenance activities, and troubleshooting steps.
* Collaborate with production teams, quality control, and maintenance personnel to address printing-related issues.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing print quality, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the printing area.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications**

* Associate's degree in Graphic Arts, Printing Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 1-2 years of experience in a printing or manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to industrial printing processes.
* Basic understanding of printing principles, including color theory, print resolution, and material compatibility.
* Familiarity with common printing technologies (e.g., inkjet, thermal transfer, flexographic) is a plus.
* Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and specifications.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Spanish. English proficiency is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
* Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
