Rotating Shifts
Weekends & Holidays: Rotation
FTE: Per Diem
Education and Training Required:
◾ Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, additional education preferred.
◾ ASHP accredited pharmacy (PGY-1) residency training preferred.
◾ LTC consultation experience is preferred.
◾ Working knowledge of clinic-based operations preferred.
◾ Certification by Board of Pharmacy preferred.
◾ Licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
◾ BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
Experience:
◾ Minimum one (1) year hospital/community pharmacy experience.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Pharmaceutical knowledge and skills to provide care to adult and adolescent age groups in general and to a specific patient population.
Knowledge and skills related to computerized pharmacy systems, special prescription delivery systems, third party payor and fiscal reimbursement knowledge related to ambulatory care practices.
Ability to learn computer and application skills as applicable to role.
Ability to interact with and work around people.
Ability to make judgments in demanding situations.
Ability to react to frequent changes in duties and volume of work.
Effective communiation skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to listen empathetically.
Ability to logically organize details.
