The automation sales representative will be responsible for sales of research-use automated liquid handling systems, primarily targeting pharmaceutical companies and academic institutions. Leveraging advanced sales skills and experience, you will work to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, strengthen relationships through engagement with customer leadership and key decision-makers, and contribute to company growth by achieving order targets within your assigned territory.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Collaborate with Field Application Specialists and Field Project Managers to define and deliver lab automation solutions. Take responsibility for understanding and expanding market share in your assigned region. Represent the organization in customer negotiations, exhibitions, seminars, conferences, distributor communication, and other relevant activities.
- Work closely with other team members to provide best-in-class automation solutions.
- Take responsibility for achieving regional sales targets for both hardware and consumables, and participate in continuous improvement processes that benefit the entire team.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- In-depth knowledge of the biopharmaceutical and life sciences market, with at least 3 years of practical experience in the use or sales of scientific instruments
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distributors
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business acumen, with the ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced, and action-oriented environment
- Positive attitude, high motivation, and strong initiative
- Continuously reflect the voice of the customer across all business functions and strive to improve customer satisfaction
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
- Valid driverâs license
- Willingness to travel (approximately 20%, including overnight travel within or outside the assigned region)
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Practical experience in lab automation
- Hands-on experience in cell, protein, or genetic analysis
- English proficiency (reading and writing)
