Job Purpose
Act as an HR Business Partner for the NDL Operations function, partnering closely with the HR Director, Plant Director, and managers to lead HR and GA functions at the Gunma plant and Okuni warehouse.
Drive talent attraction and retention, ensure organizational stability, and support future plant transformation.
Key Accountability
1. Work closely with the HR Director, Plant Director, managers, and other stakeholders to support the execution of APAC/NDL HR strategies.
2. Lead and drive HR initiatives and projects at the Gunma plant and Okuni warehouse including HC management, performance management, training and talent management, employee engagement, and employee communication.
3. Collaborate effectively with the Tachikawa HR team to ensure stable daily HR and GA operations and promote continuous improvement.
4. Understand hiring needs at the Gunma plant and Okuni warehouse, select and expand appropriate recruitment channels, and work with the APAC Talent Acquisition team to fill open positions in a timely manner.
5. Manage daily labor and employee relations matters, working closely with the Plant Director, managers, and labor union representatives to resolve issues and maintain positive labor relations.
6. Lead initiatives to improve employee benefits and reduce OPEX for the Gunma plant and Okuni warehouse, contributing to efficient plant operations.
7. Manage and develop team members to enhance the performance of HR and GA functions in Gunma.
8. Promote EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) activities in collaboration with the Operations team and EHS specialists, including coordination of EHS committees, safety patrols, and occupational health programs.
9. Perform other tasks and projects as assigned by the HR Director, based on business needs.
Education Qualification1:
1. University Degree or equivalent Professional Certificate
Technical Competence & Skills:
1. Business level English (ability to communicate with overseas visitors and handle emails)
2. Basic knowledge of HR operations and processes (recruitment, performance management, employee relations, etc.)
*Willingness to learn is required even if you do not have hands-on experience
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills using data and metrics
4. Project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
5. Practical skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

1. Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders (senior management, plant managers, employees, labor unions, etc.)
2. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence others

Relevant Experience:
1. Experience as a team lead or project lead (any size)
*Formal management experience is not required if you have led a team
2. Experience in driving business improvement, process improvement, or transformation initiatives
3. Experience in HR, general affairs, or corporate functions is a plus
4. Experience in employee relations or labor-related matters is a plus
