The intern will support DAGS2 Continuous Improvement initiatives through the application of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. The primary assignment will be to lead a DMAIC improvement project focused on increasing operational performance, reducing waste, and improving key manufacturing KPIs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Learn and utilize Donaldson operating systems (Oracle, Vorne, and reporting tools).

• Understand DAGS2 manufacturing processes and Value Stream Maps (VSM).

• Collect, validate, and analyze production data.

• Lead a Continuous Improvement project using the DMAIC methodology.

• •Eliminate bottlenecks

• •Streamline critical processes

• •Implement a poka-yoke system

• •Reduce cycle time for critical machines

• Identify performance losses and root causes.

• Develop and implement improvement actions.

• Monitor and sustain project results and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and kaizen activities.

• Present monthly project progress to the DAGS2 Leadership Staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Interest in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
