Your role in the company

You play a critical role in protecting the performance and reliability of mission‑critical technologies used across electronic warfare, radar, and advanced communications systems. As part of Teledyne Microwave Solutions—a global leader in high‑power microwave and radio frequency technologies—you help ensure our products meet the highest quality standards demanded by the U.S. and allied defense platforms worldwide. Your expertise directly supports operational readiness, customer trust, and long-term product excellence.

What you’ll do

  • Inspect incoming materials, in‑process builds, and finished products for compliance with specifications
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and visual inspections using precision measurement tools
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection plans
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials or processes
  • Prepare inspection, rejection, and first article reports
  • Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions
  • Support quality audits and supplier inspections
  • Enter inspection and test data into quality systems
  • Apply acceptance or rejection identification as required
  • Help reduce rework, downtime, and quality escapes

What you need

  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications – required
  • Experience using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges – required
  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical inspection methods – required
  • High attention to detail and strong documentation skills – required
  • Vocational certificate or Associate degree in a technical field – required
  • 10+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment – required
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑reliability manufacturing – preferred
  • Proficiency with computerized quality or data entry systems – preferred

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000
