Athletic Field Groundskeeper


To assist in maintaining the parks grounds and facilities for the City of Temple

We love nothing more than the glimmer of stadium lights on a freshly-cut, pristine natural grass playing surface. Finally, we believe that great people transform businesses. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare, maintain and restore grounds within the assigned areas or fields as directed. 
  2. Monitor, report, and resolve any issues, problems and/or concerns In assigned work areas.
  3. Operate powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, sprayers and sod cutters.
  4. Report/address field issues such as turf stress, disease, wear areas, etc. 
  5. Work with other grounds staff as directed and perform other duties as assigned
  6. Perform preventative maintenance operations on various pieces of equipment


REQUIREMENTS
