Freeman West results over 3.53 million tests a year and issues over 550 units of blood each month
Other Labs at Freeman include the Cornell Beshore Cancer Institute Lab and Freeman Neosho Laboratory
Draw stations are located inside Freeman East, the Bentlage Building and the Women’s Pavilion
There are over 140 employees in the Labs at Freeman and all of them are highly talented and patient-centric individuals
Schedule
On-call only, work on an as-needed basis.
What You'll Do
Performs authorized clinical/analytic procedures, collects specimens using approved venipuncture techniques, and other support procedures under guidance of the administrative director.
Skills & Abilities
- Phlebotomy skills using various techniques to include utilization of safety collection devices.
- Ability to handle specimens using standard precautions.
- Ability to operate complex laboratory instrumentation.
Requirements
- Must meet CLIA 88 standards, which includes a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous Phlebotomy experience preferred.
