Perform a variety of tasks in the assembly process of the blade.

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Follow the work instructions.  

• wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions regarding chemical usage. 

• Install tip and multi-receptors. Then diverter strips using sika

• Apply zip ties to lightning cable according to work instructions to attach it to the web.  

• Install Root flange on blade.

• Using crane to install and then operate the root grinder.

• Place a U-shape bulkhead into the blade and glue it.

• Use of hand tools/scraper to apply sika around root flange
• Install Stay bolts
• Use crane to weigh and balance the blade.

• Maintain 5s Standards. 

 

Required Qualifications 

• Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.   

• Ability to push/pull heavy objects and work with hands for an extended period.    

• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.   

• Knowledge of the department area.  

• Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.  

• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.  

• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time. 

• Requires wearing of respirator.

Desired Characteristics 

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience. 

• Previous Manufacturing experience. 

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the base pay for this position is $22.88-$26.54.

Position Shift: Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm
