Key Responsibilities

  • You will work closely with Defence stakeholders to identify and seize opportunities, leveraging existing contract relationships to provide value-for-money solutions, and delivering a range of acquisition and through-life support services.
  • Lead the planning, coordination and management of program operations, including subcontract management, risk management and budget, in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to provide additional services and support to the customers and other emerging businesses to support the company's growth goals.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the program team to deliver the contracted project outcomes and beyond by keeping up-to-date with emerging processes and practices relevant to services/programs/products delivered.
  • Demonstrate a focus on delivering the best possible outcome and attend to all details required to deliver the right solutions at the right time to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Build collaborative partnerships with the SPO and/or other stakeholders to maintain and improve customer/client satisfaction.
  • Meet and/or exceed contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and System Health Indicators (SHIs) as defined within the Contract Performance Framework.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Tertiary Qualification in Project Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated skills in financial cost control utilising earned value principles
  • Proven understanding of the Defence environment - with a minimum of 5 years in Project Management and / or engineering on Defence sustainment support projects
  • Experience in solution and proposal development, including the financial and commercial aspects of a proposal.
  • Proven high standard of written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at https://www.agsva.gov.au/applicants/eligibility-suitability
