What You Will Do  

  • Identify, document and produce Discrepancy Reports for any defects, damage or quality issues.

  • Perform necessary transactions in system of records as required for items being inducted, received, and shipped for accurate inventory management.

  • Maintain documentation records for audit, traceability and reporting purposes.

  • Meet customer requirements for both internal and external deliveries.

  • Train associates on tasking requirements and taking corrective action when needed.

  • Applies practical knowledge of interpreting requirements, specifications, directives, regulations and other related technical, contractual, or leadership documents pertinent to logistics.

  • Backfills for Logistics Supervisor when on PTO, travel, etc.

  • Draw attention to important issues and assist in developing solutions.

  • Adheres to safety and protection policies and procedures and identifies safety risks to improve safety precautions.

  • Support requisitions for CONUS and OCONUS shipments.

  • Ensure parts are packed correctly upon receipt.

  • Operate vehicles/forklifts to transport material or merchandise.


  Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience. 

  • Experience in warehouse operations.

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance


Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working with logistical systems e.g. ALCS, PRISM, ATLAS, LMP, WAWF or equivalent inventory management systems.

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and strong teamwork abilities.

  • Prior experience in leadership for logistics operations.

  • Excellent organizational, team and communication skills to work independently and take initiative to address issues.

  • Ability to drive a variety of forklifts.

  • Experience in a Material Consolidation Point (MCP), Manufacturing and Depot, Production or Performance Based Logistics (PBL) environment.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 60,000 USD - 114,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
