What You Will Do
You will work as an Inspector supporting the Columbus Engine Center (CEC). In this role, you will perform detailed inspections of turbine engines, engine modules, and components to ensure compliance with published work instructions, approved technical data, and quality standards.
What You Will Learn
- Use a variety of tooling and measurement equipment to inspect engine components to validate proper configuration.
- Provide complete and accurate documentation to support engine build.
- Meet production/inspection goals and objectives for the facility.
- Complete and review technical documentation including Fits and Clearances, Engine Inspection Report (EIR), and SAP.
- Complete and review engine package documentation.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma or GED equivalent
- 3+ years’ experience in aviation inspection role
Qualifications We Prefer
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License, Powerplant (P) License or 2+ years’ relevant experience.
- Turbine engine overhaul, inspection and repair experience, precision measuring tool usage, preferred in one or more of the following disciplines: Disassembly, Inspection, Assembly.
- Ability to identify and resolve configuration and compatibility issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
