Le Senior Commercial Proposal Manager, en collaboration avec l'équipe des ventes et des applications, est chargé de diriger et de gérer l'ensemble du processus ITO (Inquiry to Order) pour les propositions importantes et complexes dans la région SEMEA, en étant responsable de tous les aspects des opportunités assignées, y compris l'élaboration des propositions, l'évaluation du risque commercial et l'atténuation des risques commerciaux, la négociation des contrats avec les clients, la conformité des processus internes, les approbations, la réservation des commandes et la remise en temps opportun pour répondre aux attentes des clients et à la société de livraison objectifs.

Ce rôle est celui de contributeur indépendant et relève du responsable des opérations commerciales et des risques de la SEMEA. Le Candidat idéal est un professionnel en milieu de carrière ayant fait ses preuves dans des rôles similaires et possédant la confiance, l'expertise et la perspicacité nécessaires pour relever les défis des propositions complexes de manière indépendante.

Responsabilités essentielles :

  • Examiner les documents de demande pour Ă©tablir une stratĂ©gie gagnante en association avec l'Ă©quipe de proposition Ă©largie, afin de livrer la proposition dans les dĂ©lais, en termes de qualitĂ© et de maximiser la satisfaction des clients et les chances de gagner.

  • Élaborer le plan de proposition, diriger les examens des propositions, suivre l'avancement des propositions et en rendre compte. Identifier et signaler tout problème ou toute dĂ©viation par rapport Ă  la stratĂ©gie d'appel d'offres de manière claire et anticipĂ©e. Proposer des mesures d'attĂ©nuation sur la base de l'expĂ©rience et mettre en Ĺ“uvre des mesures correctives

  • Travailler de manière transversale et coordonner avec un expert en la matière (ingĂ©nieur des applications, ingĂ©nierie, finance, droit, services, chaĂ®ne d'entrĂ©e f, gestion de projet, gestion de produit, etc.) pour mettre en Ĺ“uvre la stratĂ©gie de proposition et identifier et traiter tous les dĂ©clencheurs commerciaux critiques potentiels Ă  traiter lors des nĂ©gociations et de la rĂ©daction des contrats

  • MaĂ®triser les diffĂ©rents aspects de la proposition commerciale : analyse des risques, courbe de trĂ©sorerie, schĂ©ma d'achat/contrat, conditions gĂ©nĂ©rales, etc. et prĂ©paration de la proposition commerciale et de la documentation pertinente en ligne avec la stratĂ©gie d'appel d'offres. Veiller Ă  ce que suffisamment de temps soit disponible pour l'examen et la validation de la documentation avant de la soumettre au client

  • S'assurer que l'estimation des coĂ»ts totaux de la proposition est alignĂ©e sur la stratĂ©gie de la proposition en termes de contenu des travaux Ă  proposer et de provisions et Ă©ventualitĂ©s pertinentes.

  • RĂ©viser et modifier les termes contractuels \ rĂ©daction du contrat, en travaillant en Ă©troite collaboration avec les Ă©quipes juridiques, opĂ©rationnelles et Comfin pour rĂ©soudre les problèmes complexes et garantir le respect des directives contractuelles de l'entreprise.

  • PrĂ©parer une proposition commerciale avec la plus haute qualitĂ©, exhaustivitĂ© et rapiditĂ© · Garantir le respect des processus et outils ITO et Risks et obtenir et enregistrer toutes les approbations de propositions pertinentes (R-Tollgates) en temps opportun pour respecter la date d'Ă©chĂ©ance de la proposition.

  • Faire preuve de leadership pendant le processus d'examen des propositions afin de s'assurer que tous les facteurs dĂ©clencheurs de risques, leur attĂ©nuation et les niveaux d'acceptation des risques commerciaux (conformĂ©ment au DOA) sont correctement pris en compte et intĂ©grĂ©s dans l'Ă©laboration de la proposition. S'assurer Ă©galement que tous les commentaires reçus lors de l'approbation des propositions sont enregistrĂ©s et traitĂ©s avant la soumission de la proposition

  • Diriger la prĂ©paration et assister aux rĂ©unions avec les clients, s'assurer que les clarifications/rĂ©ponses/prĂ©sentations sont disponibles et examinĂ©es avant les demandes des clients, avec les experts en la matière concernĂ©s et les dirigeants de l'entreprise.

  • Diriger les nĂ©gociations commerciales avec les clients et les fonctions de soutien afin de garantir le plein respect des engagements contractuels et de l'Ă©valuation du risque commercial.

  • DĂ©velopper et entretenir des relations exceptionnelles avec les clients et les rĂ©gions.

  • Assurer un transfert fluide de la phase de proposition Ă  l'exĂ©cution lors de l'attribution, en impliquant l'organisation de gestion du projet avant le transfert si nĂ©cessaire.

  • GĂ©rer toute la documentation commerciale et contractuelle liĂ©e Ă  la proposition avant la remise Ă  l'Ă©quipe d'exĂ©cution et assurer une rĂ©union de transfert complète et opportune.

  • PrĂ©parer les accusĂ©s de rĂ©ception des commandes, obtenir les signatures des contrats, gĂ©rer son propre processus de rĂ©servation et s'assurer de sa pleine conformitĂ©.

  • Favoriser la mise en Ĺ“uvre de normes de proposition et de nouveaux modèles commerciaux afin de maximiser le volume des commandes et la portĂ©e du marchĂ©.

  • Identifier et affiner en permanence les processus et les outils de proposition, en mettant particulièrement l'accent sur les opportunitĂ©s d'amĂ©lioration Lean et de rĂ©duction des dĂ©chets tout au long de la phase ITO.

  • Maintenir la connaissance des tendances du marchĂ©, des exigences des clients, des actions des concurrents et de la base de clients.

  • Aider l'entreprise Ă  maintenir le plus haut niveau de conformitĂ© et d'intĂ©gritĂ©

Qualifications :

  • Une expĂ©rience minimum de 10 ans dans les opĂ©rations commerciales, l'Ă©laboration de propositions, la rĂ©daction et la nĂ©gociation de contrats et les nĂ©gociations directes pour la vente d'Ă©quipements et/ou de services et les accords de consortium, avec une forte prĂ©fĂ©rence pour la familiaritĂ© avec l'industrie et l'Ă©nergie secteurs (turbine Ă  gaz/Ă  vapeur/centrale Ă©lectrique, variateurs de frĂ©quence, moteurs de machines Ă©lectriques tournantes, produits de rĂ©seau)

  • ExpĂ©rience dĂ©montrĂ©e dans la nĂ©gociation de contrats de grande valeur et dans la gestion d'opĂ©rations commerciales complexes.

  • Solide expĂ©rience en matière de travail avec des Ă©quipes interfonctionnelles et de gestion de multiples parties prenantes au sein d'une organisation matricielle complexe

  • Solides compĂ©tences analytiques avec la capacitĂ© de dĂ©velopper des informations stratĂ©giques et des plans d'action.

The Senior Commercial Proposal Manager, together with Sales and Application Eng Team, is accountable to lead and manage the overall ITO (Inquiry to Order ) process for large and complex proposal within SEMEA region, being responsible for all aspect of assigned opportunities including proposal development, commercial risk assessment and mitigation , customer contract negotiation, internal process compliance , approvals, order booking and handover in a timely manner to meet customer expectation and delivery company objectives.

This role is an independent contributor and reports to the SEMEA Commercial Operations and Risk Leader. The ideal candidate is a mid-career professional with a proven track record in similar roles, and possesses the confidence, expertise, and sharpness to navigate complex proposal’s challenges independently.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review enquiry documents to establish a winning strategy in association with the extended Proposal Team, to deliver the proposal on time, on quality and maximize Customers satisfaction and probability to win.

  • Develop the proposal plan, lead proposal reviews, monitor and report on proposal progress. Identify and report any issue or deviation to bidding strategy in a clear and anticipated manner. Propose mitigation actions based on experience and implement corrective actions

  • Working cross-functionally and co-ordinate with subject matter expert (Application Eng., engineering, finance, legal, services, supply chain, project management, product management, etc.) to implement proposal strategy and Identify and address  any potential critical commercial triggers to be addressed during contract negotiations and contract drafting

  • Master the different aspects of the commercial proposal: risk analysis, cash curve, purchasing/contract scheme, terms and conditions, etc and lead preparation of commercial proposal and relevant documentation in line with bidding strategy. Ensure sufficient time is available for review and validation of documentation before submission to Customer

  • Accountable to ensure that total proposal costs estimation is aligned with proposal strategy in terms of scope of work to be quoted and relevant provision & contingencies.

  • Review and redline contractual terms\drafting contract ,working closely with Legal, Comfin and Operations teams to address complex issues and ensure compliance with company contractual guidelines.

  • Preparing commercial proposal with highest quality, completeness and time responsiveness

  • Ensure adherence to ITO and Risks  processes and tools and obtain and record all relevant proposal approvals (R-tollgates) in a timely manner to meet Proposal due date.

  • Provide leadership during proposal review process to ensure and that all risk triggers, risk mitigation and business risk acceptance levels (as per DOA) are properly addressed and incorporated in the development of the proposal. Also, ensure that all comments received during the Proposal Approvals are recorded and addressed before submittal of the proposal

  • Lead preparation and attend of Customer meetings, ensure clarifications/answers/presentations are available and reviewed ahead of Customers requests, with relevant  subject matter experts and business leadership.

  • Leading commercial negotiations with Customers and supporting functions in order to ensure full compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment.

  • Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with customer and regions.

  • Ensure seamless hand-over from proposal phase to execution on award, involving the project management organization prior to handover as necessary.

  • Manage all proposal related commercial and contractual documentation prior to handover to execution team and ensure timely and comprehensive handover meeting.

  • Prepare order acknowledgements, obtain contract signatures, own booking process and ensure full compliance to it.

  • Drive implementation of proposal standards and new commercial models to maximize orders volume and market reach.

  • Continuously identify and refine the proposal processes and tools with special emphasis on Lean opportunities for improvement and waste reduction through the ITO phase.

  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, customer requirements, competitor actions and customer base.

  • Support the business to maintain the highest level of the compliance and integrity

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years  in Commercial Operations, proposal development, contract drafting and negotiation and direct negotiations for equipment and/ or services sales and consortium agreements, with a strong preference for familiarity with Industrial and Energy sectors (gas / steam turbine / power plant, variable frequency drives, electric rotating machine motors, grid products)

  • Demonstrated experience in negotiating high-value contracts and managing complex commercial operations.

  • Strong track record of working with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders across a complex matrix organization

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop strategic insights and actionable plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.

  • Technical knowledge of electrical solutions. Bachelor's degree in Engineering is preferred

  • Proficiency in relevant software tools analytical software and sales tools (CRM, Excel, Word, etc.)
