Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of the Canada West Land Services Ltd. team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to our operations. Your duties will include:

• Negotiating various types of land acquisition agreements with private landowners and special interest groups
• Conducting rental reviews and general stakeholder engagement for settling damages or addressing concerns as required
• Communicating with stakeholders regarding projects
• Executing and auditing acquisition documents
• Maintaining continuous and effective communication with clients
• Communicating field success and deficiencies to the Project Manager
• Documenting stakeholder concerns and escalating as necessary
• Maintaining a high level of confidentiality
• Traveling as required; comfortable driving country/back country roads

Experience and Qualifications

We welcome candidates with a combination of relevant experience and/or education. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Experience with landowners, acquisition, and consultation
• Background in Agriculture, Farming, or Ranching
• Understanding of applicable guides, acts, and provincial regulations
• Familiarity with typical land/regulatory processes and procedures
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High motivation with the ability to take initiative and a strong work ethic
• Solid critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills
• Exceptional organization and attention to detail
• Proactive, action-oriented individual
